Der Lehrstuhl für Medizinische Informationstechnik (Medit) ist Mitglied des interdisziplinären Helmholtz Instituts und gleichzeitig Teil der Fakultät für Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik der RWTH Aachen. Unser engagiertes Team aus 27 wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern widmet sich der Erforschung innovativer medizinischer Technologien.
Wir arbeiten eng mit verschiedenen Unternehmen und der Uniklinik Aachen zusammen, um unsere Forschung in die Praxis umzusetzen und den Fortschritt der Medizintechnik voranzutreiben. Unsere Forschungsthemen umfassen unter anderem Closed-Loop Assistenzsysteme für Therapiegeräte, Biomechatronik und bewegungsunterstützende Geräte, Bioimpedanzspektroskopie und elektrische Impedanztomographie sowie optische und kontaktfreie Messtechnik.

The Chair of Medical Information Technology (Medit) is a member of the interdisciplinary Helmholtz Institute and part of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at RWTH Aachen University. Our dedicated team of 27 scientific staff is dedicated to the research of innovative medical technologies.
We work closely with various companies and the University Hospital Aachen to transfer our research into real-life use and advance the progress of medical technology. Our research topics include closed-loop assistance systems for therapy devices, biomechatronics and motion-supporting devices, bioimpedance spectroscopy and electrical impedance tomography, as well as optical and non-contact measurement technology.
