Mediterranean Textile Company (MTC) is a producer of superior quality compact yarn for the premium segment of the European shirting market. MTC is the only company in Egypt that exclusively spins compact yarn-100% of production is compacted. Located in the Borg-Al-Arab Industrial Area – Alexandria the 88 000 square meter production facility has an installed capacity of 63,312 spindles for the production of 100% cotton yarn. All spindles are state of the art machinery imported from Europe for the production of compact yarn fiber characteristics of significantly reduced hairiness and increased strength.
