Birmingham Maths aims to build collaborative relationships between school leaders, businesses, and teachers of maths, with a common mission to improve the maths education outcomes of young people throughout the city. Linking with established, government-funded national initiatives, we are working to improve maths education for the young people of Birmingham, informed by detailed local knowledge. We aim to provide opportunities for high-quality professional development for teachers, training and support for curriculum development, networking opportunities, enrichment activities for students and support to improve teacher recruitment and retention.
