MedSTEMPowered

MedSTEMPowered is a 1600+ member, 501(c)3 Medical Nonprofit Organization dedicated to building a community for Future M.D.s+ in STEM. We founded the Future M.D.s+ in STEM 2020 Summer Program with over 200 participants, hosted Times Kid's Choice of the Year Gitanjali Rao, and currently host over 7 departments for students passionate about medicine. In 2021, we re-launched the Future M.D.s+ in STEM Summer Program, and introduced both a national program and an international program, with over 1,000 registered attendees. International and national participants heard from medical healthcare professions within their program-type, participated in hands-on medical workshops (such as CPR, Mock Diagnosing, Mock Triaging), and engaged in the 2021 Research Symposium with featured student research. Overall, MedSTEMPowered has reached over 10,000 students globally and continues to build an inclusive community for future M.D.s+ in STEM.
