Medtaste is a social enterprise subsidiary of WelshBone, our mission is to expose real life medicine to school students and help them to make an informed decision in deciding whether to study medicine and become a doctor. The competition for entering medical school is very high. Some medical schools have an applicant to interview ratio of 15:1. We will try to bring you the most up-to-date information in the medical world, tips and tricks from recently successful applicants and hopefully give you the confidence to apply and succeed.
Our Mission:
Promote medicine as a Career to young people and provide an opportunity for them to become exposed to “real life” medicine.
Help prospective students to choose a career as a doctor, advise them to choose the right subjects at A-levels, degrees and extra curricular work to help them get into medical school.
Explain medicine in simple language to young people from the doctor’s perspective; this will give an insight to students what medicine is like.
Develop the student’s interest by interactive workshops and teach them basic skills in medicine
