MedTheia

Electronic health records (EHRs) have revolutionized healthcare by centralizing patient data, improving care coordination, and reducing medical errors. However, their technical complexity consumes a significant portion of physicians' workdays and hinders effective patient communication. MedTheia is developing an innovative solution to address these challenges by building an automatic tool to transform unstructured EHR data into visually intuitive schematics. Leveraging natural language processing (NLP) techniques, our software extracts key entities from EHR text and generates informative base, spatial, and temporal diagrams summarizing patients’ medical condition, bridging the communication gap between healthcare providers and patients.
