Meelia Foundation

The ‘Meelia foundation’ is a non-profit organization currently in its establishment process. It will aim at helping young Jewish Brazilians make aliya and move to Israel. It is funded by a Brazilian Jewish donator wishing to help the Brazilian youth make the big move to the promised land. We will offer help and support throughout the entire preliminary Aliya process in Brazil to overcome all administrative, logistical and integration challenges. From opening an Aliya file to filing the necessary administrative forms and providing the right paperwork, learning to open a bank account and much more, The Meelia foundation will cover it all. Through our mentoring program, Aliya candidates will be partnered with Israeli mentors that will help them not only settle down in Israel but also become part of the community, locate and register in an Ulpan to learn Hebrew, find an apartment and overcome the daily challenges in the life of a new immigrant. Part of our integration mentoring program will also include workshops to help new immigrants write their resumes in Hebrew. Additionally, the Meelia Foundation will also provide guidance and support in finding and applying for highly coveted positions in a variety of domains such as such as civil engineering, law, high-tech and more.
