Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association (MEGSA), University of Alberta

Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student Association is a departmental graduate student group which exists under the student clubs section of the Students' Union Constitution and will also be recognized as MEGSA. Our mission is to work towards the common goals of all Mechanical Engineering grad students. The purpose of MEGSA is to promote an environment for the interaction between mechanical engineering graduate students and with other relevant parties. MEGSA will regularly organize all kinds of activities relating the academic, professional and social interests of the graduate students in mechanical engineering. Also if you have any ideas about improving the graduate student experience and want to put those ideas into action, always feel free to contact us. It is also our responsibility to provide the following to our membership: + Organizing academic activities with the intention of improving knowledge and experience of members in the diverse areas of mechanical engineering. + Organizing recreational and social activities among members in order to foster comradeship and allow the exchange of ideas in an informal atmosphere. + Representing the interest of the mechanical engineering graduate students before the Department and external organization such as Graduate Students Association and Students' Union.
