MEIA

MEIA brings together and represents professionals and entities operating across the Creative industries in Malta. Raising awareness of problems within the industries represented, whilst encourages feedback for its members, and protects the rights of all individuals and companies. MEIA also runs different programs, impact assessments on industry, projects, studies and incentives, also through the help of funding. Conduct all other necessary activities in the attainment and pursuit of the MEIA’s purposes. Whilst establishing links with other associations and unions which share the same views, whether nationally or internationally. MEIA received its first operational grant from Arts Council Malta in 2022; to develop a three-year programme enabling MEIA to build the capacity of the organisation, deliver professional support to its members and address its mission to improve, promote and protect the status of the artist and the cultural professional.
