Melanate.

Melanate. is a formal initiative (fiscally sponsored by 501c3 POISE Foundation) aimed at empowering Black women and Black gender-expansive individuals within the resource mobilization and wealth movement space. By addressing systemic barriers and fostering a supportive community, Melanate. seeks to shift the demographics in fundraising and philanthropy while ensuring Black women/gender expansive have the power and authority to succeed. Our goal is to create an ecosystem where the resourced and those resourcing are one and the same, facilitating meaningful change for Black communities and beyond.
