I'm Melissa, the owner of Melissa's Management & Consulting. You may know me from MR Management and if you do don't worry, this is just a rebrand to reflect an exciting new season of growth for my business. I still offer specialized consulting, speaking, and state management services in the self-storage industry. My career began in 2008 as a facility manager. In 2017, I took on the role of VP of Operations at ASG Management, where I helped grow the company from two to over 35 self-storage facilities across Tennessee, Kentucky, and Florida.
While all that was going on at ASG, I served as Director for the Tennessee Self Storage Association (TNSSA) and, since 2019, the Louisiana Self Storage Association (SSALA). These roles have given me an unparalleled perspective on the industry’s challenges and opportunities.
Today, at Melissa's Management & Consulting, I use my experience in state management to organize beneficial events and educational opportunities for our members and the wider self-storage community.
