Founded by Australian-born, East Timorese / Chinese creative producer Del Ly, Melonhead is a music industry development agency established to educate, strengthen cultural competence, and create new opportunities for the Australian music sector outside the EU/US-centric music landscape. Confronted by a modern world amid a climate crisis, growing regional economic gaps, and rising geopolitical tensions, the future success of the Australian music sector relies heavily on how we work within our regional architecture. Melonhead intends to deliver accessible content and programs that target industry peers and practitioners based within the Indo-Pacific region.
