Thompson also created one of the country's most successful internships, MELTU, based on his experience of working his way through Auburn University as a student assistant in the Sports Information Department. MELT University has guided 1000s of college students with career advice, podcasts, weekly newsletters, videos and resume coaching. In 2020 Thompson published "Build Brand YoU". MELT also helped launched the Jboy Show podcast and SANIL, a student-athlete NIL marketing agency.
