Manufacturing Engineering and Management Group at UWI St. Augustine

As an extension of the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, the Manufacturing Engineering and Management (MEM) Group specializes in the areas of product design and development, computer integrated manufacturing and engineering and additive manufacturing. In this regard, the MEM Group is instrumental in the delivery of undergraduate degree courses such as Product Design and Development and Computer Aided Design/Manufacture as well as the MSc. in Manufacturing Engineering and Management. In continuing to advance manufacturing engineering, one of the overall objectives of the MEM Group seeks to provide Mechanical Engineering Graduates and equivalent Graduates with a deeper understanding of the knowledge required for designing products and manufacturing systems with the intention to improve effectiveness, promote innovativeness and enhance competitiveness of the Caribbean manufacturing sector through the MSc. in Manufacturing Engineering and Management offered at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.
