Mechanical Engineering Members' Society of Faculty of Engineering of University of Sri Jayewardenepura was established in 2023 in the faculty premises. This community consists of the academic staff and the undergraduates of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of FOE, USJ. Organizing events associated with academic and co-curricular activities, providing a good industrial insight of the undergraduates and building a proliferating community among students and academic staff were the key objectives of establishing the society.
