Mental Help was born out of the urge to bring the ''mental health'' concept on everyone's lips, a concept that is both stigmatised and little known in Romania.
We believe that emotional wellbeing is as important as physical health, nevertheless, sadly, the emphasis is almost exclusively placed on the latter. Thereby, mental health is frequently overlooked, and this topic remains taboo, especially due to a deficiency in accurate and exhaustive information.
Mental Help strives to offer free psychological help to people in vulnerable situations, to improve the quality of psychological services, to provide psychoeducation and social-emotional learning, and to normalise concepts that, at the moment, are unfairly stigmatised.
