At MENTHALI, we believe Mental Wellness is the foundation of thriving societies. Yet, millions silently struggle with mental health challenges, weighed down by stigma, lack of care, and neglect. In Nigeria, 29 million people live with mental health disorders, but only 10% receive adequate care. Many still attribute these challenges to spiritual causes, delaying treatment and worsening outcomes. Globally, mental health disorders cost the economy $1 trillion annually, while families and communities suffer the emotional burden. Our vision is clear: to create a society where mental wellness is prioritized, resilience is cultivated, and individuals are supported to thrive emotionally, socially, and economically. We promote wellness through education, advocacy, and support, building a generation that sees mental health as key to growth and stability. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we: - Promote mental wellness (SDG 3). - Integrate mental health into education (SDG 4). - Equip young people with resilience tools for the workplace (SDG 8).
