Mentone Grammar is the benchmark for outstanding coeducation in bayside Melbourne. We offer a dynamic, well-supported learning environment with wide-ranging opportunities for students from our Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. Mentone Grammar is renowned for its successful learning model of Together-Apart-Together, where girls and boys in the Middle Years (5-9) learn in gender specific classes within a wider coeducational context. In Early Learning through to Year 4 and in Years 10-12, students learn in a fully coeducational environment. Our extensive cocurricular program complements our Teaching and Learning curriculum. Mentone Grammar has a proud sporting history and is a powerful contender in the AGSV program. Our Coaching Academy provides specialist coaching in a broad range of sports and makes the most of our excellent sports facilities. Our School also has a deserving reputation as a leader in the visual and performing arts with an events calendar filled with extraordinary productions and celebrations of artistic and performance excellence. The benefit of a single Campus means that all students and staff have ready access to impressive learning facilities which include a new Creativity Centre that houses a 450 seat theatre, visual arts studios, food and materials technology areas, a recording studio, dance and drama studios and music school. Our well-resourced Science and Environmental Studies Centre is impressive with its specialist laboratories and generous learning spaces. Also on site is an Aquatics Centre, a fully equipped Sports and Function Centre, Junior and Year 7 Learning Centres along with our Year 9 Greenways Campus.
