WHO WE ARE //
MentorAbility Saskatchewan is part of a national initiative dedicated to promoting supported employment opportunities and seeing more people experiencing disability in the workplace. The program brings together those experiencing disability and employers or business leaders.
Being led by the SaskAbilities Regina Branch, MentorAbility Saskatchewan has two co-ordinators who connect service providers, employers and individuals experiencing disability from across the province to boost opportunities in Saskatchewan workplaces.
WHAT WE DO //
We facilitate short-term mentorship experiences (as little as an hour or up to one day long) that create a long-lasting impact. Mentorship experiences aim to give a job seeker a better understanding of a work environment in which they have an interest.
At the same time, this can help employers with recruiting efforts and let them see all the business and community benefits created by employing individuals experiencing disability.
