MEP (Mohammadi Electric Wire’s & Multi Products) was established in 1974 as a private company situated in BSCIC Industrial Estate, Barisal, Bangladesh for manufacturing electric accessories and cables.
The factory started commercial production in the year 1976 and has steadily and impressively grown to become a leading producer of all type of electrical accessories :- Switch, Socket, Holder, Fluorescent Lamp Ballast (Electrical and Electronics), Regulator, Energy Bulb, PVC Pipe etc ate also added in the production line. Due to our quality products and competitive price, the volume of demand increased rapidly,
To meet the rising demand of our products a new establishment in the name of MEP Cables. UNIT-2 was established under the same management in the year 1999. This unit has started opertation specially to manufactures- AAC. ACSR, Domestic, Control, Telecommunication, Submersible Cables and LT/HT Cables with PVC/XLPE insulation for the voltage grade up 0.6 to 11 kV. Also to cope modern machines with latest state of art technology were imported and established this unit in the year 2002.
Our products are approved and are being used in the country by DESA, BPDS, REB, PWD, Civil Aviation, MES, T&T, BTMC, Railway-Government (BR), City Corporation, BSFIC, Semi-Government and Autonomous Bodies etc. Our products have been widely used in the private sectors including Housing apartments and Shopping projects as well as electrical appliances manufacturer and engineering establishments.

Various tests of our products are conducted according to relevant standards Specification. Our product testing procedures are performed by sophisticated testing equipments under the guidance of well-trained technical persons headed by qualificed engineers.
