At Meraki Early Learning Centre, we understand the importance of our role in the lives of the children and families who attend our service and the community in which we operate. Through play, we are committed to building solid foundations for children socially, emotionally, cognitively and health through the most important years of their young lives. Our nurturing approach ensures we build trusting relationships and provide an environment that children want to spend their time. Our team is passionate about the development of children and committed to critical reflection and ongoing learning. We provide opportunities for the children to learn at their own pace and challenging them where appropriate through planned activities and experiences. The team pride themselves on the relationships they build with the families at the service and their collaborative approach of caring for the children, as the educators believe families are the experts in their children’s lives. Our service is a 104 place, two-storey site, with 6 learning environments including a three year old and a four year old Kindergarten program. We provide light filled, naturally resourced learning environments and age appropriate activities to appeal to the most curious of minds. We are a short walk from the centre of Mooroolbark and all that there is to offer. We see value in participating in activities in the community and are always excited to make new connections with members of our community. We believe in the importance of living into your values, living above the line and creating an open, honest and inclusive working environment. We believe in courage over comfort and having the tough conversations. We know that not every day will be perfect but we are committed to making the most out of every situation.
