Mercôu is the digital market of your city. The platform quickly became the Genoese reference for shopping "as in a real market", virtually navigating among stalls of different types, from butchers to fresh pasta, from fruit and vegetables to cheeses and much more, concluding the purchase with a single receipt and receiving the goods comfortably at home, even a few hours after purchase. Payment can be made online or contactless on delivery. The activity was born at the beginning of the Covid-19 emergency but, given the enthusiasm with which it was welcomed by customers and shopkeepers, it was decided unanimously to keep the service alive even after the emergency, supporting and encouraging the transition from the real world to the digital world. The project is for two young Genoese, Veronica Arato and Lorenzo Scarfì, who had the intuition to help local artisans transform themselves to learn how to compete in a new world.
