Mere Care

Mere Care was founded by a woman doctor in the Solomon Islands to improve the health and wellbeing of local women. Nearly two out of three of the women they serve in Honiara are victims of domestic and gender based violence. Mere Care takes a holistic approach that includes health education workshops, mobile clinics, telemedicine services, water filtration systems, economic empowerment talks, advocacy, and partnerships. They donate 10 percent of their earning to community service. Mere Care is part of yher Pacific, Pacific Connect, and other regional networks.
