Since 1947, the company MERGER designs and manufactures speed Gearboxes in France. Owned by the MERGER family until the 2000s, MERGER was then owned by a subsidiary of General Electrics for 8 years. At this time, the company was moved to the city of Lyon. MERGER has been taken over since 2014 by an industrial family from Lyon, specialized in industrial mechanics. This new shareholder allows MERGER to recover their original values. The service, the proximity and the reactivity of our teams bring today a new boom to the design and the manufacture of speed gearboxes. Since 2019, MERGER and PIV FRANCE combined the two factories.
