Established in 1960, Meridian Housing Foundation is the result of a collaborative partnership between four municipalities to provide housing for seniors. Since then, it has grown into a registered charity committed to providing safe, affordable housing for seniors in need. The foundation currently owns and operates two lodges and one affordable living apartment. It operates on behalf of the Government of Alberta, five additional self-contained apartment buildings. A new affordable apartment complex is planned for future development.
