Meridian Navigation Ltd (MNL) incorporated in 1989 as a family-owned company. MNL Sri Lanka currently provides a range of integrated shipping and logistics services, specializing in ship agency services, maritime products & maritime logistics. It’s main subsidiary Wilhelmsen Meridian Navigation Ltd is a major shipping and trading house in Sri Lanka establishing its name in the shipping agency business. In 1995 MNL entered into a Joint Venture partnership with Wilh Wilhelmsen ASA., of Oslo Norway establishing Barwil Meridian Navigation Ltd (BMNL) and subsequently BMNL changed its registered name to Wilhelmsen Meridian Navigation Ltd in 2009 in line with regional rebranding.
