Merit Academy is a non-profit, therapeutic school program that serves children PreK-12 with social, emotional, developmental disorders, chromosomal conditions, and learning disabilities. Individualized academics, speech therapy, behavioral therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy are all provided along with in-home training. Merit Academy’s curriculum follows Texas State mandated curriculum, TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and is based on each students grade level functioning, not age equivalency.
