The Internet is more than computers and code. The Internet is about people. And this is what MERIT is about: interacting with others to teach, build and protect the web. MERIT Club is a movement that brings people together locally to teach, protect and build the open web and our community in an engaging and collaborative way. Established by a very motivated IT enthusiasts from Tunis business school, MERIT is aiming to engage students that have passionate volunteers working for the open web as advocates,technologists/innovators, and teachers, in one single gathering. That is the vision for MERIT Club. To spark a movement, a loud voice, a breeding ground for new ideas, a massive force, a deep pool of talented people that will power our community to new heights. Specializing in IT at TBS is very challenging and important, but it doesn’t cover all the essential points.At first, Our purpose was to prepare TBS students for a better opportunity in the job market through our extensive IT training. But, why just focus only on TBS students? MERIT’s main mission now is to spark or rather join and be a back-bone for the digital evolution that Tunisia is having.
