MeritWise Group Public Ltd (MGPL) was incorporated on 18 July 2018 in Mauritius and holds a Category 1 Global Business License in accordance with the Mauritian Companies Act 2001 and the Financial Services Act 2007 of Mauritius and has been operational since 30 July 2018. MGPL was officially listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM) on 15 October 2018. MGPL is a group of companies focus on investing in private companies with high potential growth in the Asia region. The Company views that the economy and wealth growth in Asia would be strong in the coming years and will focus on investments in high potential growth companies in Asia, notably Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Cambodia, Thailand and Indonesia. The Company will also identify companies with high returns and strong financial positions within Mauritius that will generate good dividend returns to the Company.
