The factory commenced in 1964, and now covers over 180,000 m2 for production, training, research and development, with over 80% of production being exported. Merlo has taken a vertical integration approach to the design and manufacture of telehandlers, with 90% in house manufacturing, and a high level of investment in R&D to support the design and manufacture quality.
