Mechanical Engineering Research Student Association (MERSA) is a student group run by mechanical engineering research students of the University of Melbourne and affiliated with Graduate Student Association (GSA). This group was registered by the end of 2014 and started its activities from January 2015. MERSA aims to support the academic and professional life of fellow graduate research students in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, enhance the social interaction and promote the welfare of fellow research graduate students, and finally, act as a representative group of research graduate students within the department.
