Back in 2008 Paul Jameison saw a gap in the market for a taxi rental company who wanted to help drivers save money on fuel. Paul started renting LPG vehicles to drivers which as well as being ecologically better for the environment, enabled taxi drivers to save 30-40% on their fuel bills against diesel vehicles at that time. As Merseysettle went from strength to strength, diesel vehicles became cheaper and more ecologically sound. Paul blended the 2 types of vehicle side by side and grew the fleet rental size by 50% at the same time as modernising the fleet for driver comfort and again increased fuel economy. Having worked day to day for 10 years in the taxi industry, Paul has a deep understanding of what a taxi driver needs to maximise their income, the pitfalls of the job and what ultimately drives a taxi driver on to provide the best customer service
Upon leaving Merseysettle (Aug 2018), Paul is proud he has created a brand which is now among the best known and well respected for taxi hire in the Merseyside region.
