Merseyside BioBank

Merseyside BioBank is the Local Environmental Records Centre for North Merseyside and active member and supporter of the Association for Local Environmental Records Centres and the National Biodiversity Network. An arm of the Merseyside Environmental Advisory Service. We collect and collate biodiversity and environmental information and make it available to people interested in knowing more about their local environment. We build services around it to enhance forward planning and decision taking in the Liverpool City Region and beyond. We promote and support local conservation priorities through increased public awareness, engagement and participation and act as a network hub and resource centre to support local naturalists, biological recorders and partner organisations.
