Mersivity

We're a group of people from IEEE, MIT, Stanford University, and University of Toronto working at the nexus of the physical (earth, water, air), the virtual (AI, cyber, tech), and the social: α Nature, physicality, reality, and the environment, e.g. Earth, Water, Air (matter) as composed of atoms... β Technology, virtuality, etc., as composed of "bits" (analog bits such as analog information in the Claude Shannon sense, or digital bits). γ Humans, humanity, and other species of beings, society, privacy, security, trust, governance, etc.. We advocate technology in service of sustainability and society with 3 basic tenets: (1) Don't harm Earth (or other parts of the universe); (2) Don't harm others; (3) Unconcealedness (the Greek concept of alethia).
