Mervat Soltan Foundation for Charitable Works was established to complete the journey of giving the late banking professor / Mervat Soltan in charitable work and community service, who was keen to provide support and follow up charitable work herself to serve the most needy and poorest sons of her country, Ms. Mervat Sultan held many positions in the banking field, the last of which was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Export Development Bank until April 14, 2022, and she was the only woman who held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Export Guarantee Company and the only woman who Trust is an Egyptian state bank and was selected from the list of the 50 most influential women in the financial sector in the Middle East and North Africa.
