MESA

The Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) holds the esteemed position of being the official scientific association for mechanical engineering at Shiraz University. It was established by the Mechanical Engineering Department in 1999, with a central council comprising nine distinguished members. MESA has since garnered a membership of approximately 400 students, who regularly participate in its activities and events. The primary objective of MESA is to elevate the scientific levels of mechanical engineering students, by providing them with opportunities to learn, grow and excel in their field. It also aims to establish connections with related industries, thereby facilitating the practical application of theoretical knowledge. MESA conducts seminars and webinars on various topics related to mechanical engineering, and equips students with different software tools used in the industry. In addition to its regular activities, MESA publishes an annual magazine called Shetab, which serves as a platform for students to showcase their research and innovation. MESA is a formal scientific association that plays a vital role in shaping the future of mechanical engineering students at Shiraz University. Its dedication to promoting academic excellence and practical skills development make it an essential resource for students pursuing a career in this field.
