MET Turkey Enerji Ticaret A.Ş. is a 100% subsidiary of the Switzerland-based MET Holding AG, one of the leading commodity energy companies in the CEE and Mediterranean region. MET Turkey’s main objective is to be a pioneer player in natural gas and power supply and trading in Turkey and to provide services to our clients by leveraging the European energy expertise of the MET Group.
MET Turkey was established in 2015 to represent MET Group in the Turkish energy markets. The company focuses on the customer-tailored supply of natural gas and electricity to wholesale and retail segments of the Turkish market while becoming a bridge for MET Group in sourcing natural gas from Caspian and Middle Eastern regions.
The activities of MET Turkey are carried out in compliance with the provisions of the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Board (“EPDK”) via Electricity Supply and Spot LNG import licenses which cover all electricity and natural gas transactions.
