The Meta-Research Collaborative brings together the meta-research community to understand and improve research methods and practices with the same rigor given to other areas of scientific inquiry. Based at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, we bring together researchers across the NYU community around a shared focus on meta-research (research on research) to promote collaboration and expand the dissemination and impact of meta-research. Meta-Research Collaborative members span disciplines and encompass expertise on a broad spectrum of topics and methods to understand and improve how research is performed, communicated, verified, evaluated, incentivized, and supported. By fostering innovation and collaboration, we strive to empower researchers and decision-makers with new tools to identify and adopt effective research policies, practices, and methods.
