Metacivicedu is an innovative project designed to address the critical gaps in civic education within primary schools by integrating metaverse technologies. This European Commission-supported initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of educators using extended reality (XR) tools, facilitating more effective and engaging learning environments for young students. Our primary objective is to improve the effectiveness of civic education. By empowering teachers with XR technologies, we equip them to foster young students' knowledge, beliefs, and behaviors necessary for active civic participation and community impact.
