Metal Detection Services (MDS Ltd) is the United Kingdom’s premium independent maintenance service provider for a wide range of industrial metal detection systems. The food, pharmaceutical, textile and medical dressing industries are some of the areas covered. We are an ISO 9001 and UKAS certified Company. As a sales organisation, we are very proud to represent CEIA Spa for sales of industrial metal detectors in the UK and for pharmaceutical equipment in the Republic of Ireland. CEIA manufacture high performance radio frequency equipment. Their manufacturing facility is in Arezzo in the Tuscany region of Italy. Build quality is unrivalled, as most of the parts and components used are actually manufactured on site. The site is highly automated, which leads to an identical build process, ensuring that performance and reliability are permanent features of all CEIA equipment. Our engineering services include performance validation of metal detection equipment to the standards necessary for compliance to the Code of Practice requirements for the leading supermarkets. All engineering functions necessary for the operation of the equipment are provided. On-site training covering metal detection theoretical principles and equipment setup, testing and operation is also provided.
