From 2010 to 2023 we recruited over 200 STEM graduates for cohort entry into a 4 year doctoral (PhD and EngD) programme of resesrch and training in metallurgy. In collaboration with our industry partners we developed leaders for the UK and Irish metals manufacturing sectors for industry 4.0 growth across the University of Sheffield, University of Manchester and the I-Form Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Dublin City University and University College Dublin.
