Our company's name, Metawe, is inspired by our heritage and reflects our vision. It is derived from the Cree phrase, Pe Metawe ᐯ ᒣᑕᐁᐧ meaning to "Come and Play".
We are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Which is located on the traditional territories of the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta. It is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
