METERDI Instruments India Pvt. Ltd., founded in 2024 in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, is dedicated to delivering reliable, high-precision measurement instruments that professionals across industries can trust. The inspiration behind the METERDI brand began years earlier within our founding company, Dhanbad Instruments LLP, incorporated on 06 December 2012. The brand name "METERDI" is a coined term, derived from the word "Meter", symbolizing measurement and accuracy, and the initials "D" and "I", which stand for Dhanbad Instruments. While the brand was formally launched under its own identity in 2022, the groundwork was laid over several years through strategic planning, product experience, and industry insights. A Power of Attorney was granted in 2021 to initiate brand protection, and the trademark application for “METERDI” was filed on 09 August 2022. In March 2025, the brand was officially assigned, along with its goodwill, to METERDI Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. Our founder, Mr. Prasad Nidhi, a B.Tech graduate in Electronics with over 16 years of experience in the Test and Measurement Equipment industry, also leads Dhanbad Lab Instruments India Pvt. Ltd. His deep expertise and vision have guided METERDI’s journey from concept to trusted brand. Our mission is to empower engineers, technicians, and professionals with high-performance tools that deliver accuracy, dependability, and long-term value.
