We hold NZQA Certification in Methamphetamine Testing in accordance with NZS compliance. We currently service the Waikato (Nth Island) & Christchurch (Sth Island) areas. Sample analysis is conducted through our trusted IANZ Accredited Laboratory - whether it's for Healthy Homes compliance, Meth Cleaning Service Providers, Insurance Claims or for Peace of Mind. We test a variety of facilities: residential, commercial, owners, rental property managers or tenants. The scope of sampling is to determine whether there is methamphetamine residue in a property. Samples are extracted with 0.1M sulphuric acid followed by dilution. Analysis by LC-MS/MS (NIOSH 9111 modified). Submitted samples comprise up to 5 surface wipes combined into a single container by the technician. The laboratory then combines 2 Field Composite samples for analysis. This is a composited sample. It is typical for an average house to require only two tubes to be submitted. The cost to a client is thus at a standardised rate updated in-line with lab. fees on our website. The results are reported as µg/sample and represent the average of all residues from the 2 samples making up the Laboratory Composite. Results can be used to screen for methamphetamine contamination. A detailed test and report is conducted following on from an initial positive base-line test. These are discrete samples analysed individually in the lab.
