Method Fund

Method Fund is an experimental self-educational project focused on searching the form of an art institution that would meet the requirements of the present as well as the peculiarities of the local context, and could give knowledge of this context. Such an idea puts above all the educational vector — which is realized as the means of formation and self-determination — in the focus of attention of the Method Fund. - we understand the contemporary art as a radical emancipatory method - art can be a method while retaining the idea of autonomy and not conforming to utilitarian and constant purposes - from this perspective, the artist realizes and accomplishes him-/ herself as a radically free person; the artist acts in the field of common, and thus, is a political subject - we are critical to giving roles to art, therefore are attentive to artistic and educational practices and methods, which would rehabilitate the experimental freedom of art
