Metro Urbe office was founded in 2005 by João Pedras and Hélder da Silva Cordeiro, after several years experience in other offices.
Developing work in Portugal and around the world, with a multidisciplinary team of 15 architects able to work in diferent and complex areas and programs as well , interacting with various specialists from different engineering areas.
The policy growth is based on a constant search for training, information and experimentalism, combined with digital tools that allow us to model ideas and transform them into architectural conceptual objects that are fully worked on BIM technology.
The challenges presented to us by clients are thoroughly tested and formatted to meet the current demands of architecture and urbanism, we believe that architecture must be a response to a concrete customer and city need, plus conceptual value on the quality of the object's design.
Concern with the cost control of the work and the principles of global sustainability leads us to look for solutions that respond in a concrete and effective way to the demands of today's world.
