METTA® is an independent garment craft company owned and managed in France near Paris, that was co-founded in 2021.

The garment is the signifier through which we wish to convey the creation of garments of art and craft, respectively named Essence Garment and Life Garment.
The Essence Garments are one-of-a-kind, non replicable wearable art garments.
The Life Garments are a third path between industrial ready-to-wear and custom-made creation. Our product quantities are low, not to induce any artificial scarcity but simply because of our small manufacturing capacity.
Our main goal is not to offer a fashion product, but to create a living object. Our approach may speak to those who, by personal conviction, may not identify themselves in the modern fashion consumption and its ephemeral tendencies to confine the garment to a purely materialistic frame.
The philosophy behind Mettä derives from a genuine pursuit of Truth, Beauty and Good. Our goal is to induce a renewal of meaning and interest in the garment and its universal symbol, so important to various traditional cultures around the world.
