About METU Optics and Photonics Society

“ODTÜ Optik ve Fotonik Topluluğu” adı (İngilizce “METU Optics and Photonics Society”) altında optik ve fotonik alanlarında dünyanın en prestijli organizasyonlarının öğrenci temsilciliği ile ODTÜ Kültür İşleri Müdürlüğü’ne bağlı olarak kurulan topluluk, Fen-Edebiyat Fakültesi Fizik bölümü bünyesindedir. Topluluğun kısa adı “METU-OPS”dir. Topluluğun temsil ettiği, uluslararası optik ve fotonik alanlarında öncü olan organizasyonlar şunlardır: OPTICA (The Optical Society/Optik Topluluğu) ve SPIE (The International Society of Optics and Photonics/Uluslararası Optik ve Fotonik Topluluğu).
