Most of them have a background as technicians with Caterpillar, Komatsu, or Crane distributors. Some of our inspectors are still in the service business for machines and trucks. MEVAS History and Background In 2006 Wolfgang Bühn, at this time Used Equipment Manager with Zeppelin-CAT recognised that the industry needed a trustworthy, independent inspection & evaluation service and with this in mind he founded his company MEVAS. He now offers to customers from all over the World independent machinery inspections and evaluation’s, and what started as a one man business in 2006 has continued to grow into what is now probably the largest appraisal company in Europe. MEVAS currently has 25 independent inspectors operating in many countries throughout Europe, Middle East and parts of Africa.
