Mevinai is a technology startup established in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as a private limited company(PLC) with the goal of providing affordable, simple to use, and reliable software as a service for small businesses in Ethiopia. As our first step in this grand journey we are engineering a technology on which small businesses in Ethiopia can run the renowned open source and free enterprise resource planning software ERPNext because we believe a simple to use, beautifully designed, affordable, secure, and reliable software as a service will act as a catalyst to unlock business opportunities in Ethiopia. The name Mevinai was carefully chosen to embody the essence of our mission, vision, and values as a tech startup. It represents our commitment to empowering businesses through innovation and smart solutions. The name Mevin derives from the Hebrew word for "understand," signifying our deep understanding of our clients' needs and the challenges they face. The suffix "ai" represents artificial intelligence, highlighting our focus on leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business transformation.
